Portage Glacier Lake near Anchorage Alaska taken back in 1983. I would just love to go back there someday.

Mamiya 645
Ektachrome
Epson V750 scan using Silverfat Ai 8 Studio software, batterscanning.com adjustable holder with ANR glass.

Thanks for having a look.

Nice shapes and the blue is terrific! It's somewhat straight-forward; but the mix of shapes keeps me interested. :wavey:

Wow, 1983, that's some time ago. :-)

Nice collection of ice. The dark background looks a bit odd - like there's too much shadow recovery used in combination with a color cast. It's probably the result of the scanning. I used to have a Mamiya 7; the slides were incredible, the scans were always a disappointment.

I'd get rid of that chunk in the llc.

I like all the chunks of ice! The background seems a little strange for some reason...it has a red haze to it...I am sure there is something you could do to fix it but I am not sure what that would be...anyhow the foreground is great!
