Too Many Deer!

Never thought I would think that but I guess there is a first for anything. I'm posting this just as sort of a note of a different sort of perspective. These 2 bucks spent the entire time I was there in the back just peacefully grazing. And just about the whole time there were one or more does passing in front of them so I never got a clear shot. I was hoping for something with both of their heads up but didn't see that except when blocked by does. So there can be too much of a good thing. I'm not complaining, however, as I felt quite priveleged to have been accepted by so many deer at the same time. Didn't do much to this other than warm it a tad and sharpen. Comments if you have any appreciated.

Interesting group photo. I realize it is hard sometimes to get all of the subjects with their heads up or even visible. I wonder what it would look like if you cropped it tighter, reducing some of the BG. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Peter, yep photographing groups of animals can be more that a challenge, sometimes it is simply frustrating! I remember from your previous post that you did manage to get one buck nicely isolated at this encounter or am I wrong?

It is great to have the multiple subjects. My suggestion to maximize the situation would be to try to time the capture to show eyes of everybody, and avoid bodies merging from any overlaps.
