Desert Glow

I normally don't post two days in a row, but I have been on the fence with this one. Some people love it, and others are 50/50. I think it would make a nice print, but not sure if I got the processing down for what I am after. Anyways, this is a vertical pano of eight horizontal images taken the same evening as my previous images from this area. Comments and critiques appreciated.

Great light here and reflection, too. I can see maybe a slight crop off the bottom to remove some the rock, but I like this a lot.

The glow is incredible, and those giant, puffy, color-saturated clouds floating above the bright landscape make this all the more special. I love it. As for the rocks on the bottom, I like them too. All of them. That's my opinion...

i like the shot peter. it's got your characteristic warm glowy feel. the fg tree adds a lot. if it were mine, i might look at turning the reds down a little. that's just me. nice shot! :toast:

Peter - I think the processing is fine - my only issues are the boulder on the right that is slightly cutoff, and the small tree interrupting the reflection. Maybe a slight move to the right would have solved these small detreactions for me. I'm sure the general public would love this as a print, as the colors are very inviting and vibrant. :toast:

I don't see much to complain about with this shot. Beautiful light. The sky is amazing.

I'm really enjoying this image. The near/far relationship is superb, as is your crafting.

Nice shot, if anything maybe too much magenta? I would also most say the foreground rock doesn't add to he compositon but I really like that little tree

Thanks for the feedback everyone, I'll have to make a few crops and color adjustments and see which works better.

What the hell's not to like? This is outstanding, Peter. I think the composition is spot on and wouldn't remove any of the rock at bottom. The light, of course, is epic.
