Great colors and leading line going towards the light. The sky seems to be a bit over sharpened or did you add some grain for texture?

Yeah, forgot to mask out the web sharpening on the sky. Wouldn't show up in a print.

I love the texture of the sand and the way the crest leads through the frame!

Alex,

Wonderful dunescape! The leading line of the ridge works beautifully of course the texture in the sand really shows well in this. But it's the colors being absorbed in the sand from the sky that really pulls this together for me.

Minor, but I could see a little shortening of this by cutting down on the upper part of the sky - but just an opinion.

Well put together image, and excellent score on the dunes without footsteps. Something funny going on with the sky, but you addressed that and there might be one dust spot I see :)

Alex,
Your landscape images are magnificent and this one's right up there with the best of them. I especially love the rippled textured in the sand on the right contrasting with the smooth texture on the left. :toast:

Nice composition. The color of the sand in the foreground works very well with the sky.

The leading lines in the foreground are simply superb, and I love that gorgeous texture and pattern in the sand. Outstanding.

The curve and ripples of the dune really give it a sense of a living thing. Great perspective. Beautiful colors.

Very dramatic image, especially on the laptop that really appreciates strong contrast.
