A beautiful bird. Looks like you have great details in the plumage. The only area of concern for me is the head. It looks very dark with little feather detail showing. I'm guessing that a little work on the raw image to bring up the detail in just the black would solve the problem. Nice image.

Beautiful falcon, Jefferson. Excellent detail in the plumage. It looks like there might be a bit of processing artifact in the lower right corner-did you clone something out there?

Hi Dennis,
yes, I had to clone some branch out.

What a beautiful bird! Love the plumage on this guy, and you've done a nice job in capturing it in what looks like fairly low light.

What a gorgeous bird! Very fine image - nice pose and detail. A bit of lost detail in the head, as Keith mentionned, but should be easy to recover.
Very excellent shot!

What a superb bird, and a very nice shot too! Lovely smooth bg, and would be even better with Keith's suggestion.

Thank you all for the comments.
I've worked a bit in the head, not sure if that what you guys suggested. I actually worked from the beginning in the raw file, which means the final image is a new jpeg.

Hopefully it's better now. Let me know your thoughts.
