This beach is located below the Mayan Ruins of Tulum, Mexico. Beautiful place,Beautiful beach. The public are allowed to swim on this beach...but this day it was closed to cleanup seaweed that had washed up on shore the night before, I was lucky enough to be there with no people on the beach, or in the water for this shot. I removed some swimming buoys and rope that was distracting in the scene. Processed in CS5.
Canon 7D, EF-S 15-85mm @ 15mm, 1/1600sec, ISO 200, {f5.6 don't ask why? just learning}, shutter priority.

A postcard looking scene.
It's a beautiful beach I haven't set foot on since 96'

Like Todd, I also wish there was a little more room on the left side, but it's a gorgeous beach and a striking image, so different from the 2 feet of snow outside.
I was there many years ago, in 1986. Wow, that's a long time ago.

I was thinking the same as, Matt. The colors and textures are all perfect.

Guy,

Picture perfect postcard as Matt eluded too. What a gorgeous beach and scene. Love the gold color and variation of blues.

If the world were to end, can't think of a more appropriate and beautiful place to have spent it!
