Jumping for...Joy(2)
Merry Christmas n Happy Holidays !
I'm posting this after being inspired by Brad's post of Dolphin. BTW this was the first time, I found Tiger jumping like Dophin, in the jungle pond, although Tigers are water babies, at times.
Thank you so much for your kind attention & views!

What was it jumping at? Was there another tiger? About the image - very cute and endearing. Would it benefit with a little increase in warmth, and selectively brightening the tiger you think?

Wow; the sharpness of the head, wiskers, paws with the side lighting, frozen water droplets, this really embodies the qualities of life, force, and beauty.

I like this, but the darkness, in my humble opinion, detracts a bit. Perhaps some lightening of the tiger to reveal more detail.

Hey Jagdeep,

Ok, I demand a royalty payment on all revenue raised by this image when sold under the "Jumping for....Joy" title!

This has to be the ugliest and furriest dolphin I have ever seen. And very odd pectoral fins...almost paw-like...

Kidding aside - this is a very dramatic capture. Personally I quite like the overall exposure and the "darkness". I love the upraised paws and the light filtering through the whiskers is very eye-catching. And I like the focused look on the beast's face.

I don't know if this is a crop or not and how much room you have around it, but my only "wish" for this image would be having a little more foreground and less background (functionally shifting the furry dolphin a little higher in the frame).

Cheers...and best of the season to you!

Brad

Thanks friends!
Brad, the royalty from the title is all yours.
Dr. Ajit, you've yourself answered the question, there were two young tigers in the pond. :jump:

Stunning moment!! :toast:
Love the dark exposure and backlight, and of course the subject and action.
I echo Brad's wish for space at the bottom

Best to you for 2013! :wavey:

beautiful image! I like the water dripplets in front of the tiger, and the colors are very pretty.
