This outcrop looked so much like a crouching lion, that I had to post it. I thought it was pretty cool.

This is in the Franklin Mountains in El Paso, where my daughter lives.

I dunno Lucy, is the lion facing downhill and that's his hind quarter and rear leg? Not sure I'm seeing it. But then again, my wife sees creatures in my images that I never see, so that's not saying much. For me, I think I find the geology a little more interesting - good nature story with the sedimentary layers uplifted to a new angle. Yeah, pretty cool.

Hi Lon,
I see his tail in the air in the UL edge ..then his haunches are facing down hill. (You can see his right foot and toes)......... Finally, his head are on his paws to the LR

Are you good with clouds? Your wife probably is!
PS: I , really, am a geologist, who likes to see beyond the layers.............ponder on that for a while.

Would love to see this in b+w with a little more detail pulled out of the rocks.

Nick,
This is grainy, but used push process in Nik to convert to BW. Hope this is what you wanted.

Lon, tell me you see him now....in the BW, you can even see his closed eye and ears with his head tucked in his front paws!
PPS: I leave all the geology up to my husband now..........I just take the photos! ``````````and see inkblot tests everywhere. Hmmmmm.....
