Lesser scaup

From this past weekend. Rain and sun and then rain again. Give it an hour and the weather turns 180 and then back.

I like the position of these two young scaup as they rocket in for a landing.

Great flight postures from both ducks, Ron. I still don't have any decent ducks in flight and you get two in one shot.

Well set up. Plenty of DOF, enough SS to stop motion, the darks and highlights with good detail, and a suitably blurred BG.

It is hard enough to get one flight shot in focus and sharp and you get two in focus. I also like the angle of the landing pose and eye contact on both ducks, way to go Ron.
