Paul,

Wonderful landscape - and cloudscape too from Glacier. But even though you titled it "Clouds," I think there is more to this image than that; you've got a great view of the Rockies and the autumn landscape is worth a view as well. In fact, I think the larger version is a must see. Great clouds indeed, but I think an even better overall landscape.

The only suggestion I have is a concern about the inclusion of the lake on the left. For me it's one of those cases where we either need to see more of the lake, or none at all. So, my suggestion would be a crop from the left to exclude the water. I think what would be left would be an excellent, near-square landscape image with distinct layers or zones - the landscape, the mountains and the sky/clouds. Just a thought, you may think otherwise. ;-)

One of the park's great views. I think Lon has a point that you could lose the lake and it would probably make this stronger.

I have to agree with Lon; that bit of lake on the left side is distracting. I would actually consider cropping off the bottom (it looks like a post or something there in front) and also crop off the left side some, maybe10-20 % off both bottom and left side. concentrate on the big valley in the distance. Nice image.
