This is another from my Headwaters series focusing on currents (and there were a lot of currents in this section of the creek!) I know some of you will find it too busy but I would love to hear your opinions. Thanks for your comments on my last post and for having a look at this one

Very nice Nancy, not busy at all, very appealing in my opinion, really like the soft color and composition, definitely like it. Well done.

I think it's pretty cohesive actually Sandy, and I like the coppery color of this. Very nice abstract!

Another very nice abstract Nancy. You have such a good eye for these. What I really like in this one is the clarity! Nice work...

Nancy - all of this series is kinda neat, in my opinion. If I didn't know, I'm not sure I would even recognize it as rocks under a clear stream at first. I find the ripples to be very fascinating. it makes for a wonderful abstract. One small nit - there's something green center-left that keeps tugging at my eye. See it over there? While it's certainly not a bad thing at all, it does seem a little out of place with the rest of your neat patterns within. And I can't keep my eyes from wandering over there.
Nice patterns though. Would be nice hanging in a psychologist's office.

Not too busy for me Nancy. Love the ripples and more subtle coloration. Invites me to relax and watch the water glide by.

This is another nice image in this current series. Its cool the way the currents alternate with the still water. Like the colors too. A very nice job.

Nancy Lea,

You continue to amaze me with these images. It just seems you keep coming up with something different, yet there is of course a common thread between them all. Not too busy at all. This one does a great job in showing the ripples, the mosaic patters, etc. This one is different too because of the almost monochromatic colors - just earth tones. Oh, and I agree about the clarity too. Not as colorful or abstract as some of the others, but just as engaging. Love it.

I really love this body of work, Nancy. This particular image, to me, is dynamic and interesting. It's colorful and abstract without losing the ability to tell what it is. The pattern of the ripples mesmerizes, so in spite of all the "action", it can be contemplative, too. Truly fine "fine art." I think this one would be my favorite so far, but I've had many favorites during this series! :toast:

Another amazing abstract for me, Nancy. I follow the numerous focal points while your composition always keeps me within the frame. Congrats on your expertise to present these scenes.

This is fun, it feels very bubbly and joyful. You're framing with the larger ripple-clear-ripple-clear-ripple sequence angled across the image is great. I can hear the creek burbling.
