exceptional image and perfect for the theme this week.
Excellent pose and eye contact, nice branches and BG- and certainly red and green!

Beautiful image Richard, great detail on the bird and a really nice background. I like that the bird is one theme color and the background is the other, which is different than the other submissions to date.

Stunning image, Richard. Excellent pose and perfect colors for the theme of the week. Like the FG and BG color separation.

This is a perfect and lovely image except for a couple of minor problems and I am sure that you know what they are. Maybe it looks more natural unfixed. At any rate, this one is a pleasure to view.

This is an impressive avian photo, Richard, that also works great for our red & green theme this week. I like the pose of the bird and his perch. Your overall comp is also quite nice with the diagonal branches and the leaves in the top left part of the picture. The lighting gives a nice glow in the background. Very nice!

What a gorgeous capture here, Richard. Besides the technical items being as good as it gets, the subject is an excellent avian beauty.
Congratulations on your WP in this category., very well deserved :toast:

These birds are always a treat with their bold color, rather easy to spot too for some reason
Outstanding detail/DOF seen in the LP. I especially like this soft light, and the pervasive green of your setting.
Congrats :wavey:
