A Day so Boring

Folks,

It was a day, where nothing interesting around, at my usual shoot location. Found these flowers on the hedge, and lazy to remove the extn tubes on my 70-200

7D, 70-200

Thanks NPN for your support

Balan: I like the main subject a lot and the soft BG elements. The relatively sharp petal in the ULC is a major distraction for me. Don't see an easy way to remove it in processing so I would have looked for a way to move it out of the way before shooting. >=))>

Balan - a very creative and beautiful image.
I echo what Bill said, though - that petal in the upper left is a distraction from this soft and subtle image.

Balan,

Given that I learned composition from Bill, I'm hesitant to disagree with him (smile). For me though, the petal in the upper left works. It creates mood that I like. I like the image as posted.

Balan:
I like this composition. For me, the petal in ULC kind of balance up the composition but I do agree with Bill about the sharp focus been distracting. You could do a selective blur in that area in PS. Wish the sharpness of the main subject extended to the tip of the V in the petals.
