Catfishing

This egret is actually in flight, not standing in water. The catfish were jumping as can be seen ahead of the egret, and these guys swooped down to nab them.
The blue hue on the shadow side wing is from the pinkish morning light(red being close to blue in the spectrum). To compensate for that in post wouldn't be true to the shooting condition.

Nice catch of an interesting flight pose. I like both of your egret shots but I like this one the best.
