Rainha Amarelo is Portuguese for Yellow Queen. I don't know what kind of butterfly this really is but it was majestic enough to me to be named Queen. I hope you enjoy and I look forward to your astute comments. I appreciate all of you!

Great detail Tim, I really like how the bottom bloom anchors the image. Very well done in my opinion.

Excellent capture of the attractive BF, Tim. Excellent detail on the BF. I like complementary colors throughout. I'll disagree a little with Bob in that I would prefer this w/o the partial bloom across the bottom, but this is minor. I also wish the main flower was in better shape, but not much you do about that. Overall, this is very good.

Thank you both for your thoughts and comments. I've included a version without the bottom flower for your consideration. But like you said, I don't think I can repair the broken flower.

Just my opinion, Tim, but I do slightly prefer the repost.

The colors here are great and you've captured a really fine view of this butterfly. Since nature is seldom perfect when viewed closely, the worn flower seems quite natural to me as does the intruding flower at the bottom. I do agree that your repost, without the bottom bloom, is easier to look at. My nit, is that the lower edges of the BF's wings seem a bit soft. If you could have gotten a bit lower, you might have been able to get all of the BF sharp as well as get the oof bloom out of the frame. In spite of that, this is a fine look at a small critter.
