Taken in August on the hood of my car. It had been parked under a tree while I was hiking and the fly seemed to be eating small white "stuff" that had fallen from the tree.

Nikon D300; 150mm; f14 @ 1/50th; ISO 250; HH; approx.80% FF.

Very nice capture of this fly doing it's thing, Tom. I like the light and reflection in the eyes - looks like the fly is wearing his shades and just hanging out. The car's hood made a nice bg.

Very cool fly capture, Tom. The blue background works well to showcase this fly and I like his reflection. Nice capture!

Really nice shot Tom, love the reflection. If it was me i would crop some from the left hand side.
