White Pelican at a pond in Eastern Nebraska. A different environment then you usually see a Pelican, but there are a lot of Pelicans that go through Nebraska. All comments and critiques are welcome and appreciated.

There is a lot of detail hidden in the brights. I suggest pulling back on the exposure and some adjustment of highlights/shadows.

An odd pose, but I like it. Head and bill are nice and sharp. Whites don't look too bad to me. I used to see them in similar small pond settings when I lived in Eastern Wyoming.
