Wonderful ethereal mood with the smokey water. I also like the diagonal line of rocks on the cobble beach.

Smokey water aint my cup-o-tea, (usually i prefer water to look like water) but i do like the comp--nice diagonal and the rocks are cool.

I love the feel of this capture! Great mood and atmosphere, my only nit is the bg hill..it's a tad distracting to me, jumping out of the frame as it is. Tis minor, though...still a great photo!

The water give a surreal feeling to this image. Very nice composition.

Evan,
Take Stan, and I'll take the 180. I love this effect and combination of smokey water and polished stones. Just something magical about it.
I'm a little unsure about the inclusion of the headlands. Kinda like I either want more, or none at all. I'm guessing you exposed more than just a couple frames here. ;-)
The only other suggestion is that if it were mine, I would burn down a few of the brightest rocks on the right edge, but that's minor. Heck, just thought of a crop that would take care of both my comments. Cropping from the right to eliminate the mountain would simplify things. But I would consider that an alternate crop and not necessarily a better image - if that makes sense.

Evan, What a wonderful mood this has. Love the colors and misty look. I'm a little unsure about the mound in the bg so I can see the crop Lon mentioned, but I do like it ok as it is here too....

Really like the contrast, color, and texture in the foreground. Sky maybe feels a bit week. A bit more saturation might help it.

I love these kind of shots, and this is a good one! Nice contrast, light, and colors. Would not have guessed Malibu!
