I spent some time today afternoon at this place in the Danube Floodplains, which belongs to the core of this National Park. It was an impressive experience of the atmosphere on a misty day in November.

Definitely a November scene, nice detail, I especially like the orange brown grasses, reflections, and you gotta love the misty bg. Well done Peter.

seems like we are having the exact same weather in Austria and Germany at the moment... it conveys the current cold very well before the real winter with snow etc. kicks in.... I enjoy the mist, wonder what a wider angle shot would have looked like with more of the tree tops, the reflection and the distant bg...

Peter,
This nicely and I think accurately displays the conditions, mood and atmosphere of a November scene like this. And when you titled it "Blue Hour," right away I thought about making this more blue! Not unsightly blue of course, just a tad more blue, which I think reflects the overcast lighting nicely. But then again, the color/processing looks great as presented.
The only nit/suggestion I have are the nests (or mistletoe?) in the tree tops. Not a huge issue and of course quite natural and all, but it got me thinking about a crop. Cropping from the top does a number of things. 1. creates a more narrow format that accentuates the length of the shore line. 2. cuts down on the empty sky area UL, 3. brings the reflection more in to play 4. removes the nests in the trees of course and lastly, 5. doesn't lose any of the mood or atmosphere.
Yikes, I'm going to great lengths now to justify a crop... Regardless, a nice, quite and contemplative image just as it is.

I love November scenes like this and it is a favorite time for me. This image shows me why I like it so much. Something about the mood in November...and you captured it here! Lon's crop suggestion also works very nice. Really nice work Peter!

I like this. Lots of elements to choose from but the light and your comp organizes them quite nicely.

My first impression is how peaceful and quiet the water seems. I also enjoy the warm colors of the bushes against the misty trees. this is a great mood image and very well captured

Another great transition of the seasons kind of image! Like the colors in this one too, and the foggy atmosphere is a nice addition to the scene.

This is the type of scene I like so much in that park. The gloomy, "greyish" atmosphere just appeals to me. The composition is very balanced, the leading shore line works very well to explore the scene. Thanks for sharing this one.

I like the somber, November mood your image conveys Peter. The subtle tones of autumn nicely compliment the misty, blue atmosphere.
