Ice Dragon

This formation of glacier ice caught my eye as it washed up on a volcanic beach in Iceland. As each wave rolled in it changed, slowly eroding away with time. Perhaps too abstract a shot. Curious if it works for any others.

Nice abstract image Richie. I might consider brightening the highlights a little to give the image a bit more contrast and pop.

Awesome! It seems alive. The the ice and the water have a strong organic character.

Richie,

Can't really see a dragon out of this... but who cares? This is awesome! I love the contrast between the clarity and almost brilliance of the ice against the soft, silky motion of the receding water. Excellent!

The only wish I have is a skosh more room at the top.

A wonderful capture of a scene that never fails to astonish me. Excellent work!
I do wish this was a bit bluer over the predominant greenish tint, though.

I see the dragon Richie. I like the sweeping motion of the water too. Might well be an effective B&W too.

Love the contrast between the water motion and the ice, including the details in the beach. Not too abstract at all but a superb image to me. Well seen.

That's a spectacular chunk of ice with great clarity and detail. The streaks and textures in the flowing water are a fine contrast. As a minor nit, I too would like a bit more room at the top.

Superb! I'll echo the "little more room at the top" comment.

Works for me Richie - although I agree with the comments on more space at the top and brighter highlights.
