Beautiful Composition Sharon. I like how the bird is smaller in the frame. I also like how it is facing into the frame.

Nicely done.

Fine art indeed. Love everything about this image Sharon. The inclusion of the bird is just icing on the cake. :toast:

I really like this composition. One of my favorite sparrows, sharp and well exposed in a beautiful setting.

Lovely splash of colors among the mostly bare branches definately says fall. The proportion of the bird in the frame allows the viewer to choose whether it's a photo of a bird, a landscape, or simply pleasant shapes and colors to hang on the wall. IMO the haze effect in lower right carries a bit too far onto the bird.

Thanks all for your comments. Dan...I saw that too, and it bothered me. Not sure what it's from, but think I was "shooting through" some foliage there. Still, I hung on to the image for the other reasons you noted....not a wall hanger, but I still like it!
