Cypress and Fall Color

The most fall colors I've found at Big Cypress Preserve are under water. Here, grasses swirl around a cypress trunk.

There is a tension here between the static cypress trunk and the swirling algae that I really like.

Plenty of fall color. I like the contrast between the sharply focused cypress and the motion blurred water.

Cool image Wayne. I really like the colors and motion. The cypress trunk does a great job anchoring the scene.

Really like the abstract qualities her Wayne. As Scott mentioned, the cypress anchors the image well.

Wayne, I appreciate the way you show the steadyness of the trunk together with the motion blur. The intense colors and interesting subsurface details add a lot for me.

Moving water in the swamp? A very different and interesting take on the swamp.

Very different, and thusly very interesting. Did I just type thusly? This works so well with the cypress anchoring strongly the movement around it. And, the bright color adds a lot as well. Cool!

Wayne, This is really well done and I find it quite interesting. Great colors and the combination of motion, soft and sharp work so well here. The detail in the cypress tree looks great in contrast. :toast:
