Richard, really like the warm colors and mood, it has a peaceful feel to it, and I find it to be very appealing. Well done.

I'm wondering if a crop from the right would remove some of the empty space there and place a more emphasis on the main attractions and give them a little more balance? I love the warm light and the single tree speaks volumes to me. Nice capture

Hmmm ... I can see Nancy's point about her crop suggestion. It would place a little more emphasis on the butte and the tree. But then you would lose some of those clouds too, which are an important element ... too important to justify the crop in my opinion. The morning light is warm. I'm wondering if less contrast would result in more of a "morning" mood.

The color and light are appealing. The comp feels like a "tweener" to me,,,,,,either a bit more room over all to show the expanse or tighter to isolate the major elements.
