Here is another photo from our group shoot at Trout Lake, WA, a couple weekends ago. We spent some time on Saturday morning photographing along Trout Lake Creek.

I debated about cloning out the twig in the lrc, but decided to leave it (at least for now  ).

Nikon D80
Nikon 12.0-24.0 mm f/4.0 at 12 mm
¼ & 1.5 sec at f/16 and ISO 100

Pretty scene John, very nice color and detail, and I especially like the way you composed this, kind of in your face, as for the twig, just part of this beautiful scene.

A very appealing capture of the creek for me, John, I especially like the textures of the water. The foreground leaves make for a very nice focal point to my eye. Regarding that small twig, it fits in well with the scene to me.

john, I like your perspective and your comp. Very refreshing. Processing looks spot on. Great capture. I wouldn't clone out the twig in the lower right corner

Very well composed, John. I like perspective with the dominant yellow maple leaves. I'd keep the twig. Excellent overall.

I like the light and how you used the leafs in the foreground to create dynamic and depth, John.

Excellent framing with the foliage. It brings my eyes all the way around the image. Unique and interesting.

I like the composition, the close-up leaves and how they seem to mimic the water flow. Considering the V created in the water, you might leave the twig in.

The "in your face" splash of leaves is a nice intro into the scene that makes me want to peer around the edges.

Really cool image John. This is a very unique composition. I would probably clone the twig out in the LRC.
