I found this scene in central washington after years of searching. The pano is stitched from 9 vertical images; slightly larger version included.

Thanks for your comments!

Wow. I applaud the effort. 9 stitchings. I have yet to try that many. Love the comp and colours. :toast:

Beautiful picture, I like how you composed it. I love the fall colors and the white tree trunks combination.

Lovely place. You definitely got this at its best. How does one "search" for a place like this? Were you after this specific comp/location or just the colors and textures in general?

Sweet. I need to see the wall-size print this would make! Was this from this 2012? The color was amazing in spots that I've visited, a good year so far.

Stunning composition and colors for me, Drew. It makes me feel like the trunks would walk around like strollers. They anchore and balance the image nicely to my eye. I keep exploring all the details and certainly would enjoy to see a really large print of this.

Appreciate the feedback! Tony, I had this image in my mind for about 3 years but can be really tough to find this type of scene over in Washington State. Required a significant amount of searching (aka. driving on back roads etc) each fall before I finally found exactly what I was looking for.

I'm sure this would have to be printed large to be fully appreciated. Your persistence paid off.

The large version is lovely - can't go wrong with warm colors and white bark! Very pretty Drew.
