Even without the brook, the tree branch and foliage is very compelling. If using the river, I feel like I want to see more river to balance the top. Gorgeous scene.

Unique composition! This view of that lovely tree is nice, but it really needs the creek to complete the picture, so this works well. I do feel like I want to see more of the creek, however. But of course, I don't know what's below what we can see here, so this will do just fine.

I love that tree limb and the surrounding autumn foliage, Daniel. Great choice on the SS for the water BTW.

Very nice fall colors Daniel. I like the "C" shape created by the tree branch and the leaves look great.

Wonderful! This has a very mysterious and oriental mood to it for me. Beautifully composed.

What a fine composition, Daniel. The tightness does a great job of bringing order to what could be a chaotic scene.

A compelling composition for me, Daniel. The prominent branch with its smaller twigs somehow connects the lower and upper part of your image to my eye. While the flow of the creek adds some interesting dynamics, I keep exploring and enjoying all the details of the foliage.

The maple tree is really awesome. The branch gives it a good base to span out from. You might consider bringing the whites up in the water to give you a little more contrast, the water seems a bit dull, although you may lose some detail. Lovely image overall Daniel!

Daniel, This is soooo nice. I really like your composition and find it quite intriguing. The water flow is also really nice. Nothing quite like shooting fall color scenes in the rain! Excellent work!

Good catch! I love roadside Vine Maple, but they often lack that something "extra" that really makes them stand out in a photo. Add a nice set of falls, and you have a winner!
