My kind of photo. I might try to pull a little more detail ot of the shadows, though.

Shadows look like they could be brightened a bit. Comp and subject really nice though!

Very nice scene! I agree with the comments about trying to get slightly more shadow detail :toast:

Great subject and I like this interesting comp. The shadows have been mentioned if you can do anything with them. I agree the colors in the U.P. were fantastic!!

Love the composition and color, I wonder if you brought out the high lites just as the falls starts to disappear with the dodge tool, how much of a difference it might make, just something to think about. Anyway, beautiful as is, you definitely have a good eye Cindy.

I like the concept with your image. I always love seeing mossy green rocks with autumn color sprinkled in. Unfortunately the dark background detracts from the image overall. Did you shoot this with RAW capture? If so, you might be able to recover some of the deep shadows and blend the images. Otherwise, bracketing multiple images and blending exposures is going to be your best bet for this kind of scene.

Ok, went back in Light room and pulled out more detail. How is it now?

Definitely hard to choose between them, like the mystery in your first post, and also like the little bit of added light in the second. Beautiful work Cindy, either way.
