Thanks for the feedback on the previous post. Here is another image from the same location. It is a tighter composition and lacks the "solid" rocks that many found distracting in the last shot.

Thanks again,

Jon

Don't believe I viewed your last post, but I definitely like this, beautiful exposure and water movement along with light, color and comp. Excellent work.

Terrific shot! The shapes are very interesting and there's so much water motion. Great job of seeing.

I like this one better. No edge clutter, and the flow of the water draws attention into the image. The temp looks too cool though. I think you could warm up the rocks and still keep the water cool. The warm, cool contrast would make it more inviting.

Beautiful work Jon. Love the flow of the water and the sharp edges of the rock. Very nice.

Very nice composition and the blur of the water is great. The shape of the rocks is very interesting.

This is 'leading lines' galore! I'm enjoying both shots of these falls, although this may be my favorite. You've captured this very nicely, and again, I like the colors.

Interesting to see a different version, and I think I like it a tad better. But as said, I really liked the other one, the vertical composition worked very well. But this has the advantage of being closer to the main interest - the smooth rocks. I also like the lightning very much.

An interesting abstract for me, Jon, full of dynamics. Just the right choice of shutter speed to my eye, and I like how the elements of steadyness and motion work together in your image.

Jon, This is really nice! Your other image from here was very nice but I like this comp even better. Your shutter speed worked great on the water with a nice feel of motion. I was there a little over a week ago (Sept 28-29) but didn't do any shooting along the Presque Isle. I did hike along it for a ways however. Very nice image!

This is so cool, Jon. I simply love the water treatment along with the array of shapes and lines in this beauty.

Very cool capture Jon, love all about it! Presque Isle is somewhere I'd really like to visit in my home state eventually.
