Cheek to cheek

A memory of the summer that is gone.
I am glad to be back again after two months of forced absence. I will try to keep my usual downloads and comments.

The poppy is one of the more translucent flower. Back lit in the morning, a diffuser in the front and plenty of light for enhancing the transparencies.

D700, Nikkor 200mm macro - f/22 and ISO 200.

Still, as always, very glad for advices and opinions.

Gigi - Could make out this was yours from the thumbnails. Unbelievable work - those textures are superb - highlighted by the bright background. Composition is excellent and love the X at the base.

A very minor observation is the slightly backwards folded petal in the Poppy on the right at the top.
