Hawaiian Nights
by Tom Kualii
Up above the clouds at 13,796 ft at sunset. Mauna Kea is a dormant volcano that now houses the worlds most advance telescope observatories. A Pu'u cinder cone in the forground and still active, Mauna Loa in the background. Two shots blend together about an hour apart.

Cinder-cones, from my experience, aren't fully appreciated unless seen by the naked eye.
This one looks simply enormous.
I see a minor blending tweak where some light is leaking from the large cone / right, to the adjacent edge. Looks like a slight glow. I'd lightly dodge the middle clouds and cool the WB of the sky very slightly.
Wonderful work.
What a great image depicting the feeling of "I'm standing on top of the world..." The glow and rim of light at the bottom are a nice addition. A am kinda disappointed though that you didn't manage a falling star in this capture....
Terrific night photography. Beautifully captured.
