Dahlia Abstract

Unfortunately we are not going to have a great Dahlia season and one particular variety at the gardens which lends itself to abstracts is not doing so well. Its always fun to shoot many flowers than just one or two. The white patch is actually the sign board in the garden showing the flower description  .

ND300s, AFS60mm F/2.8 Micronikkor @ F/5.6, 1/640 Sec, ISO400, Diffuser and Handheld like most of my abstracts usually are.

Thanks a lot for your comments on Cleome and do let me what you think of this one.

You are the master at these macro abstracts of the dahlias Ram. Each is more beautiful than the previous one. :toast:

How very elegant!! And a sublime color palette, too, along with creative plane of focus. Painterly-- a light sketching with color wash. Isn't photography amazing?

A real stunner, Ram. I like the colors and points of focus on the petals. The flow is really lovely! Yep, never would have guessed regarding the sign. :toast: :toast:
