sorry for reposting but I fiddled with resizing and think i have a better posting image now-the wavy pattern is gone and its crisper. Sorry-this is my 1st time posting and i want to use best resizing method before doing more of my captures.
Welcome any comments. On my previous post of this shot, DOF was brought up - i agree would have been nice to get more, i guess here i opted for lower ISO since i knew i would have to crop it, so at the expense of higher ISO/more DOF.

Good shot. Well balanced, good color, sweet complementing BG. Nits mentioned (shallow DOF). :toast:

Hi Mark. I like most everything I see on this....I do wish there was a larger version posted so I could critique the details better, but it looks good from what I can tell on the small version.
I am a bit confused with your comments on ISO and it's relationship with your DOF though. The ISO is really going to have more of an impact on your shutter speed. So for example, if you increased your ISO say to 400 instead of 250, your SS might have been closer to 1/600 or 1/800 rather than 1/200. If you want to increase your DOF, you might consider changing your aperture instead of shooting wide open (f/5.6 with that lens at 400mm) by changing your F stop to maybe f/6.3 or f/7.1. knowing what AV is needed will come with more shooting, but until then, if you have a smartphone, you can even get an app that has a DOF chart based on the lens and camera you are using to tell you how much DOF you will achieve with certain settings. One I know of is called DOFMaster.
Hope that helps and I look forward to seeing more from you.
