Cleome

Albert near about finished all compositions so I had to really struggle to find anything interesting and I am not sure I have anything close to interesting.

This is an extreme close-up of a single flower from the Cleome bunch with focus on the area where the petals merge at the bottom. This is an all white Cleome.

ND300s, AFD200mm F/4 Micronikkor with 36mm ET @ F/5.6, 1/400 Sec, ISO400, Plamp, Tripod and Diffuser.

Thanks a lot for your comments on Impatiens and let me know if you like this one or not.

Ram: Really neat take on a flower I struggle with. Great idea to get really close. Most excellent. >=))>

What great abstract art Ram. This just keeps my eyes going around inside the canvas. Love it.

Leave it to you, Ram, to find a compelling abstract in a Cleome. Very interesting, if you ask me. I like this one a lot because of the design. Very well seen and captured. :toast:

Ram
Your brain must be wired to find abstract composition in any flower. Fabulous :toast:

Very nice composition. The stalks of the petals remind me of spokes on a wheel, they really draw the eye through the photo.

De-"Light"-full! Excellent brightness added to my day from this. I like your comp for it's use of lines and the dof for guiding my eye.

I am not sure why...I can't quite put my finger on it, but this one does not seem to have the same punch that the rest of your work has...I really liked the impatiens...I have never looked at a cleome however, so I probably can't appreciate how difficult it is to photograph...It probably excells in the "cleome" category!

Tremendous abstract! All lines leading to the LRC, the muted color, and shallow DOF work well here. Nice stuff.

This is excellent. I especially like the white and the shapes of the petal openings with the BG showing through. A very interesting take on this flower.

I like this a lot, Ram. Your composition is really unique and works well. The green and white is a lovely, subtle combination of color. :toast:
