The visual grandeur of "Irpu Falls", located in Southern India, is a fascinating sight to behold during the monsoon. This falls flows through densely forested hills, though the base of the falls is accessible by a short walk from the nearest village. Made this image last month during a short trip to this location.

Lovely greens and excellent choice of SS. I like the diagonal course of the water flow.

I agree with Phil--great comp, nice exposure for the h2O. I could go for a bit more shadow detail, otherwise looks great!

cool shot - great ss and colors in the greens. The water looks very clean for a monsoon! One day I would love to explore some of South India and its landscape given my heritage from Chennai

Seems like an amazing sight to behold indeed. I really like the dynamic composition. The image doesn't seem soft by any means, but maybe for this web presentation it could use a bit more sharpening? That aside, this really rocks!

I really enjoy the looks of the water here, and the rest of the scene is beautiful. I think your comp works great and there is a nice feel and glow to this scene. Very nice!

Stan - Agree with you that more shadow detail would have made better impact.
Alex - I will check it out if more sharpening would be optimal here.
