The sun was starting to hit this pond, as I was surprised by a beaver slithering into the water just ahead of me. Some issues with the darker areas especially... but I wanted to post the whole animal and not crop off the back. Thanks for any C&C!! (Taken before my Sigma lens was received.) D90, ISO-500, 1/800th, f-5.6, 300mm.

I like that circular little bow wave and the clear eye Bill. The reflections of the reeds in the rippled water surface are also adding to the appeal of this. I agree the shadow areas look a bit noise and could do with some NR.
