I almost lost track of this image, but was looking thought the "to post" folder and ran across it again. I like the pose and perch as well as the feather detail in this juvenile.

7D, 300mm f4 ISL + 1.4TC, hand held, f8, 1/250, iso 400, Av mode with -1/3 compensation. Normal processing in CS5. Cropped to 10.7 MP. Taken July 30th at 7:14 pm.

Your comments and criticisms are greatly appreciated.

Thanks for looking,

Nice, Dennis. A pleasing pose, nice perch, great detail and BG. Well composed and exposed. A keeper.

Nice pose and head turn Dennis. I like the background for this bird, although the green leaf isn't "ideal". On my monitor the photo appears just a little bit dark.

Nice pose, perch and feather detail and also a nice clean BG. I don't know what the perch is but it looks like lichen and whatever it is I think it looks cool.

Cute bird in a very nice composition. Sharpness, perch and BG so good but I wish green leaf was not there.TFS.

Very nice. On my monitor it appears under exposed slightly. I would brighten the bird and tone down the limb on the right side.
