Spurge, Dewed

The fall wildflowers are getting going in the lot next door and last week we had a couple of cool mornings with heavy dew. Seems like the summer doldrums are going away. This is a 19 shot stack of Flowering Spurge (Euphorbia corollata) that was barely poking above all of the Japanese stiltgrass that is taking over. These flowers are about 1/3 of an inch in diameter. (5D3, 100mm macroL + 36mm ET, f/6/3, 1/50s, iso 200, -1 EV, tripod and cable release)

I like this, Mark. Great depth of field, smooth background, and the droplets really take this image to the next level. Lovely composition, too.

Wow, Mark. The shallow DOF + stack + dew gives this a very unique look, almost like the flowers are barely submerged under water. I am impressed with the look you achieved. Very well done. :toast:

The heavy dew drops covering this flower make this a very unique and beautiful flower image. Love it! Great details in the flowers and drops with a very nicely blurred background. Good comp choice, too. Very nice, Mark!

Fantastic work, Mark. I love all the dew and the two flowers showing the range of shapes make for a nice composition.

Fabulous bg for these, Mark ! The stack has produced great sharpness through what I take to be some depth back to the bud. The droplets make an extraordinary pattern - lovely image altogether.
