Reflections, June 13th 2012

I was walking on the banks of our local river and came across these reflections in the gently, rippling water. The reflections, are the leaves and greenery from the bank. The final image, reminded me of a painting.

Minor brightness and contrast.
Panasonic DMC-TZ3
Focal Length 16.89mm
Shutter Speed 1/29.99 sec
Aperture f/4.69
ISO/Film 160

I was asked to post the camera settings, for my photos. I could not afford an expensive camera body and macro equipment, so I built an attachment for my camera, that included cardboard tubing and lots of duct tape. The above settings, may or may not make any sense since the attachment changes just about everything. :)

Stephen,

Lovely palette and softness. I might like to see the bright blue in the bottom left side cropped out to preserve the softness of the rest of the image. Well seen!

Beautiful colors and lighting. I like the upper left corner as is, with the small bits of blue, so if this were mine, rather than cropping out the larger area of bright blue I might try cloning it out. Beautiful image.
