A simple centered composition of a White Osteospermum Flower. Its not pure white but more like Egg Shell White with a purplish hue.

ND300s, AFD200mm F/4 Micronikkor with 36mm ET, F/16, 1/60 Sec, ISO400, Diffuser and Tripod.

Thanks a lot for your comments on White Hibiscus and let me know what you think of this one.

Fabulous, Ram. I may like this a little brighter in the center, but I don't know for sure w/o a side by side comparison. I certainly like this a lot, however, as is. Just gorgeous. :toast:

Wow, this is an eye-popping image, Ram! Superb focus and colors throughout the whole flower but especially in the center. Love the contrast of the little touches of yellow. Beautiful!

Excellent image, Ram. Great composition, I love the symmetry. Wonderful contrast between the oranges and blues...and what a detailed look at this flower, too.

very good concept - i wonder if reducing contrast and brightening the centre might give a more ethereal and lighter touch? nice work, though

Ram
Fabulous :toast: The different sized dark spikes formed by the petals add a lot of interest and movement to the image.

Gorgeous high-key look Ram. Excellent color and a nice, conventional comp. I like the cleanness of the shot a lot.

First class image, Ram ! The colouring is a delight, and I love the little splashes of pollen which create incident across the centre. I read this with just the slightest clockwise twist, which further adds to the drama.

The centered composition works great here and really shows off the symmetry this flower has. I might play around with brightening the center a bit but having shot these a little earlier this year I know that the blue tends to be pretty dark. Nice stuff.

This is beautiful. I love the colors and the subtlety of the purple on the white petals. The tiny yellow ring around the outside is perfect. Well done.

WOW, I love this. I wasn't sure about the centered composition at first, but the more I look at it, I think it helps make it what it is. Stunning.

Beautiful lines, colors and crisp focus. I love the centered look and that you didn't make it a square crop. Really beautiful, Ram!
