Not sure when I'll end this sunflower series. . .I have lots! (I guess my title could be referring to this also.) I had actually gone back another day that was not breezy but was mostly overcast to get more shots so now I have two outings worth! Hope you don't get tired of seeing another sunflower.

Canon Rebel T1i. 180mm macro lens. F/5.6 for 1/800 sec. ISO 100. Tripod mounted, natural lighting.

Never tired of these, Carolyn! Another beauty! Great composition, I love the out of focus sunflowers in the background. The bees are a great addition.

Very nice composition and good detail in the flower. The bees add a nice touch to the image.

Another excellent SF image, Carolyn. The bees are nice, but this works really well because of the light, comp and terrific BG. :toast:

Another beauty - keep them coming!
All the many sunflower fields here are bone-dry and the flowers have withered and are lost - very sad, as I love sunflowers - not to mention the income lost for the farmers.
I'd like to see a bit more room around the large bloom here, but everything else is perfect.

This is a very nice image Carolyn! Good lighting, detail and comp, and I like the busy little bees. Good title too.

Love this comp with the one singled out from the many. The bg is very effective for creating the sensation of a burst of flowers. Nice going.

OH, this is nice! From the BG to the composition, to the party crashers, you captured this superbly in my opinion Carolyn.

Excellent! Your subject stands nicely amidst the slight blur of the bg blooms and the busy bees are beautiful (Ok, too much alliteration..I need more coffee)
Wonderful capture. I'd be happy if you posted every sunflower you took.

Carolyn - Superb composition with that slight left to right tilt and leaving more space on the right. Nice light and petal details on a great looking forward.
