No Glory

We have the vines growing like crazy in our garden. But with the extreme heat we're experiencing, the Morning Glory's are not producing any blooms.. "No Glory"
So I tried just shooting a leaf this morning at first light.
Thanx for looking as always.

Love the beautiful simplicity in this photo, Howard! The great lighting helps showcase all the wonderful designs in this leaf. I like the angled comp of the leaf with the purplish stems branching off. The darker green background works so well with the lighter green leaf. I appreciate that you can see the beauty in a simple leaf and compose it into a piece of art IMO. Well done!

Magnificent light and lovely diagonal comp. Even without flowers, this is "glorious."

No flowers maybe, but the beautiful leaf looks like a gem (ok, a large gem) hanging on a pendant. Well seen and taken in the beautiful light, Howard. :toast:

This is great. The light is perfect for bringing out the rich texture in the leaves and hint of color in the stems is very complimentary.

I really am enjoying the simplicity of this Howard, the way the lines of the stem come together with the blue in the stems complementing the green of the leaf, and the light is really nice picking out the highlights in the veins of the leaf. There is glory in the morning, even if it isn't what we necessarily want, you captured it so well.

Unexpected from a morning glory plant, but stunning nonetheless. Well seen and technically perfect. :toast:
