Hi Kay, welcome to the gallery! Thats a pretty shot of the sunset and distant mountains. Not sure if all that black on the bottom was intentional, but i think its too much, id crop most of it.

Kay, Welcome to NPN and the Landscape Gallery! Looks like your first post, but registered way back in February - Glad you decided to post!
I agree with Stan's comment and would take it even further. You've got a nice line up of peaks that stretch across the frame that I think would make for a very nice panoramic. In fact I would even consider cropping from the sky as well which could eliminate the faint contrail too. But that's a minor nit. Definitely would consider getting rid of at least 1/2 dark bottom - there's nothing down there adding to the image.
But a beautiful sky and a grand sunset/rise.
Look forward to more images and for your participation in the galleries and discussion forums.

Welcome to NPN. I agree with the suggested crops as they would put the emphasis squarely on the stripes of golden light. Beautiful colors in the sky. Nice first post

Think I would make a panorama eliminating most of the bottom and the clouds above the golden streaks. The resizing would put more emphasis on the horizon and the sky and give the image much more impact.
Oops, didn't read the other comments before posting this... At least they agree with the pano theme.
