One of my favorite locations and one that I've posted from before. This was shot on a gorgeous afternoon, so I tried sneaking some in when the sun went behind the clouds. Larger posted, hope you enjoy! Oops, D90, ISO-200, 1/2 second, f-20, 28mm, CPL & tripod.

Bill,

I can understand why this would be one of your favorite places! Your strategy of waiting for the sun to go behind a cloud worked well and this does convey the feeling of a gorgeous peaceful day.

Thanks for sharing!

Looks like a nice spot. I might take a bit off the top from below where the main trunk bifurcates which catches the eye a bit. The light with the sun behind the clouds is quite nice, bright but not too harsh.

This looks like a beautiful place to be. I agree with Kah Kit about taking a bit off the top. Otherwise it's a nice scene with nice light.
