I found this little lady gaurding her egg sac the same night as my last post. I was pretty happy to see this as I've always wanted to find one of these. Comments and critiques welcome!

Pretty, if you like spiders. What is the one in the LLC? Regardless, I would be tempted to crop on the left to the spiders extended leg.

There's a lot going on in this image Tonia, but you needed the detail to clearly show the egg sack and to bring out the details in the spider, which you certainly did. Good eye to spot her as she blends in well with her surroundings. I think Phil's crop suggestion has merit.

Per Phil's suggestion, here is a tighter crop to eliminate distracting plant foliage.

These are my favorite spiders, I've spent a lot of time observing them over the years.
I like your placement in the frame, nice clear view of mom and egg sac.
Good use of your flashes to light up the scene as well :toast:

Excellent sharpness on the spider and a lovely collection of greens. The crop does focus nicely on the spider.

This is a beauty, Tonia, and the crop shows it off even better. I usually like seeing some habitat, but it in this case it was not adding much to the image.
