the large version is little bit soft on sharpness and my monitor is showing me blueish tone, great pose, thank you for sharing :wavey: :toast: :wavey:

This is a repost. My laptop is a bit off so this may be more color correct.

Hi Rick: Nice shot of the heron. The repost is still showing a pretty heavy magenta color cast.

Rick,
Great capture, good detail in the feathers and eye, fantastic BG. The blueish tone looks very natural but have to agree a slight bit soft on my screen. I like the framing, lay-out and vertical comp. :toast:

Nice composition and bg, Rick. I agree about the color cast and softness.

I like the POV, perch, BG separation, and classic pose of this bird. I've can't remember seeing one around here.
Sometimes under certain conditions the blue pixels can do weird things. Try adjusting your color balance for blue in the mid-tone range, see what happens. And if you have the room, a bit less space behind, more to the front would better also.
Hope I wasn't too hard on ya, still a nice shot as posted Rick :toast:
