Misty Hibiscus

Hello all, I have definitely been MIA, sorry to say. I have gotten a promotion at work ( so doing 2 jobs right now). and have been shooting weddings. ( of all things!).. but still have my love of nature..
We had a very misty day recently, and this hibiscus bloom was covered to uniformly with dropplets it was uncanny.. please enjoy and comments welcome.
shot on tripod with nikon d700 24-70mm, 2.8 at 70mm 1/50th at F9 , Iso 200

Looks gorgeous, Sally! Would love to have seen a larger version of this one.

It is quite amazing how uniformly these small raindrops cover this flower. Lovely colors and good lighting. I probably would be tempted to crop this in from the sides some.

Congrat on the promotion....but doing 2 jobs at the same time must be tough.

Love the drops on the petals. The comp is a little centered and cropping a little from the left will give more attention to the bloom.

I like this shot so much, that i'll nit pick on a small detail to make it even better .Just above the petal at 11 oclock, there is opening in the leaves, that should be cloned out, the repost is great!!!! love the color, light and detaill
