Here's another from my recent trip to Nova Scotia. I shot this beach two days in a row hoping for an epic sunrise. The first morning never materialized but the second morning, our last of the trip didn't disappoint.

My recent post on the Dreamscapes Blog expands a little more on the image.

VERY Pretty Kurt. I love the hint of mist/fog against the distant trees and especially love the light hitting the downed tress on the extreme left. Wonderful shot!!

Very nice comp and light. The beach sand maybe feels a bit bright and pulls my eye away from the water channel a bit.

I love it. Though I can't help but think that the horizon line is tilted here, but I am almost 100% sure its just an illusion.

The light sure is singing here Kurt. Wonderful capture and a nicely balanced comp. I enjoyed reading your blog about it. Perhaps the vignette is a little strong, particularly on the left, but a fine image nonetheless.

Wonderful sunrise colors and composition, I like the placement of the stream to lead you through the image and those clouds really finish the image, well seen.

Love the sweeping lines of this. The sky feels a bit dark to me consdering the lighting but dramatic none the less. Maybe toning down the FG sand would create a more balanced feel?
