Nice one John! I like that you got the face and antena in focus. Nice colors. I do wish you had been able to get the grasshopper just a bit more to the left of the frame so part of its head was not behind the plant. thanks for sharing.

I like these insect shots where they are captured peeking over top of a leaf or whatever. Not sure always who is most surprised in those captures, the insect or the photographer! Great focus on the head, antennae, and especially those fascinating eyes. Nice comp and lighting too.
