Lovely image with beautiful color throughout, Eva. As usual this is well composed and processed. I think I'll just sit back and enjoy the view for a while.

Who says a center horizon doesn't work? Beautiful capture and processing.

Wonderful Eva, especially for having such a flat foreground. I prefer this with the blues desaturated a little.

Gorgeous Eva

This was from the Kyle of Tongue bridge I assume. The colours are pretty close to my memory of it maybe just a very minor desat on the blues but not much.

Thanks all for your comments and input.

Here is a repost with the blues brought down 10 points.

Yes Ian. This was taken from the Kyle of Tongue bridge. What a gorgeous area! Thanks.

This image literally breathes serenity. I prefer the toned down blues but both are incredibly beautiful. That must have been a fantastic workshop.

Hi Eva,

Just my personal preference, but I much prefer these "reflectionscapes" where that is the focus and there isn't some required foreground object to break things up. this is just beautiful. And without a foreground, or a shoreline, if really feels like this reflection could go on for infinity under and behind you - if that makes sense. I love the little bit of texture in the water too.

I know it's Scotland, but this must be like what inspired the words "purple mountain majesty..." edit: just saw the repost - it certainly looks good, but I didn't mind the color in the original - hence my comment. ;-) A great one no matter how you slice it.

Sigh... Peaceful. Celtic. Soulful.

I especially like the repost, Eva, for I can see a little more (just enough) of the first light on the land. Gives it a little more dimension and is not just a counterpoint to the insanely beautiful dawn light and reflections. The land takes on a bit of its own form and interest and lends the mood of "just waking up" to the day.

Another brilliantly captured scene!

Beautiful image. I slightly prefer the repost but I suspect that the original would sell better. Both very nice.

What a great composition and excellent light. I like the original better as well. The greater intensity of color works here very nicely. You've really found some amazing images in this landscape.

A gorgeous shot Eva. Love the softness of the cloud reflections in the water. I don't mind the strong color of the original, and the large version is always a joy to view.

What can I say that hasn't already been said....this is beautiful. The essence of tranquility. A very emotionally provoking piece, which is what great photography is all about.

Beautiful capture Eva. I like the colors on both versions, but I prefer the second post a bit more because I can see more detail on the mountains in the background. Gorgeous violets and pinks in this image, and amazing soft texture on the water. Awesome job!

Well worked scene , the second variant of processing improves. Amazing glow across the whole image with blue to violet and subtle pinks. Makes me want to see Scotland more and more.

The pastels and blues together with your composition with the reflection make this simply beautiful, Eva. The catpaws on the water add just a touch of design to the water. I prefer the original ... really sings to me.

It's a wonderful image either way, but I certainly don't mind the increased saturation of the original. I really like the way the bottom of the photo is empty of anything but color.
