Here's a shot from years ago while hiking up to Mazama Ridge above Paradise at Mt. Rainier. Not sure why I past it up years ago during the first edit, but I like it now. Thanks for looking!

Jeremy, very cool pattern and lines. And those greens are intense!

To my eyes some of the bare trees and particularly the trunks in the LLC look a little magenta.

Typical montane zone scene of subalpine firs Jeremy, very well captured! I agree with Mat, great lines and patterns, and I also agree about the slight magenta cast on those trunks.

Very nice isolation of patterns and lines, agree about the magenta cast, at least on my monitor. Well done :toast:

Here's a fix for the magenta....I think what happen is that I decreased the blues and cyans a bit, and that affected the magenta...? Anywho..Thanks!

I saw this one late last night but was too tired to comment. I like the varying shades of green in this. The only critique I have would be to fix what appears to be wide-angle lens distortion on the left hand side of the frame - the trees appear to be leaning too far to the left.

This recalls looking down from a hike I did at Mt Rainier over 20 years ago. The textures and variety of colors here are very nice.

Edit: I sort of like the stronger contrast in the original version better.

I like the patterns and tonal range of greens Jeremy. I think I prefer the original as well.

I really like your processing. Would be awesome to see how our native forest would look like here in Hawaii.
